Join us at Orangetheory Fitness studios in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a challenging workout that will deliver increased muscle endurance, strength and power – and if you desire, great weight loss as well with proper nutrition.

Orangetheory Fitness 60-minute group sessions differ from day to day, although they are built upon a foundation of three main components which include indoor rowing machines, treadmill training, and weight room or resistance training blocks.

During your gym session, you will be fitted with a heart-rate monitor that will help you and your personal trainer keep track of your performance. You will perform multiple intervals during your session designed to produce 12-20 minutes of training at 84% or higher of your max heart rate, which translates to Zones 4/5—boosting your metabolism and helping you feel increased energy with every interval taken. For up to 36 hours following your Orangetheory session, your body will still use oxygen and burn calories just as if you were still working out.

All adults and teenagers ages 16 and older are welcome to participate in our program. Whether you are brand new to working out or are currently in shape, the Orangetheory program has been designed for you. That's because the intensity of our workout sessions are based upon your own individual heart rate.

Experience a high energy gym workout and see how we can help you with your personal fitness goals. Just visit us online or give us a call at (225) 424-5000 to book your session with our Baton Rouge, LA studio. Your first session is free, so go Orange!

Being a Cajun from "Down da Bayou", I grew up with a rich culture of good food, good fun, faith, family, and a love for being outdoors.

I graduated from Nicholls State with a degree in education and taught ELA for almost 12 years. My husband and I have 4 energetic kids between the ages of 10 & 5, so being active certainly helps me keep up with them!

In 2008 I got my certification in Les Mills Body Pump and in 2012 MOSSA Group Power. More recently, I completed my ACE personal trainer certification. I am dedicated to my clients and helping them adhere to their workouts.

Orangetheory is the ultimate workout that anyone from any level of fitness can be successful and reach fitness goals! I am excited to be a part of this this fun and motivating environment! "If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life." That is certainly true for me and true about what I do!

Both of her undergraduate and graduate degrees hail from the University of North Carolina, where she also taught writing.

This trainer is mindful of athletes recovering from injury since a fall on the ski slope led to ACL and meniscus reconstruction surgery. 'I was never attune to other's physical needs,' she says, 'until I found myself struggling through rehab and learning to walk again.’ She would tell you the wisdom of C.S. Lewis guides her today, 'you do not have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body.'

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

COACH SUPPORT

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
